WHO AM I?
I was born in London, the UK, where I studied painting at Camberwell School of Art and the Royal Academy. After leaving the Academy Schools, I set up a community mural painting group sponsored by the Manpower Services Commission, in London. We developed a collaborative design technique to bring our separate styles together. A year later, together with three artists from Brass Tacks, we formed London Wall, an independent public art group. London Wall produced sixteen murals in paint and mosaic. During this period, I also taught on the Art in a Community Context course at Roehampton Institute of Higher Education and lectured on public art throughout Britain.
In 1992 I moved to Amsterdam where I now teach English, translate from Dutch into English and edit English language texts.
